PROJECT 8020 WATERPROOF BACKPACK

$89 $149

Whatever your next adventure, we have designed the perfect roll-top backpack to hit the road with you.

The 8020 is waterproof and fully submersible.

If it comes to protecting your gear when mountain hiking, navigating river rapids, fishing, or surfing, you will be grateful to have our dry backpack at hand.

Designed with sustainable materials obtained from recycled plastic bottles, it is at the same time extremely lightweight, durable, and flexible thanks to the TPU coating.

Waterproofing is achieved by radio frequency (RF) welding, a process that melts the layers of material together.

Its military-inspired minimal design, large inner pocket for laptop and accessories make it versatile, suitable also for your daily urban activities, protecting your belongings in any weather conditions you may encounter.

Join the crowdfunding campaign to be among the first to get your hands on an 8020 by saving $60+ on retail price.

7 Reasons To Support The Campaign

SUBTEXT1

100% Waterproof

The 8020 is built to prevail over every outdoor obstacle to keep your valuables safe from accidents.

Whether for urban or outdoor activities, will be your best friend when it comes to keeping water out.

It's completely waterproof, even if you submerge it. You can even use it to carry water or ice, thanks to its inner coating.

Our backpack meets the international IPX-5 waterproof rating.

SUBTEXT2

Extremely Durable

The mix of materials we use is resistant and safe in any scenario – even the most extreme situations.

Excellent flexibility at low temperatures – may be doubled up at -55°C without causing cracks.

Outstanding hydrolysis resistance, abrasion resistance, oil resistance, and aging resistance.

SUBTEXT3

Sustainable Materials

The body of the 8020 is made from RPET (recycled polyester), a material obtained from recycled plastic bottles, one of the most polluting products for the environment.

Every backpack is made recycling 25 plastic bottles.

Plastic bottles are turned into pellets and then into yarn and hyper-resistant fabric.

Additionally, the TPU coating of the backpack is biodegradable.

SUBTEXT4

Pacifist Military Design

We are against all forms of war, but we love military design.

The 8020 is inspired by military dry backpacks and features the signature Expedition / Units print that defines its technical features.

The 8020 was born in the sign of functional minimalism. It is named after the famous 80/20 Pareto principle, according to which 20% of efforts produce 80% of results.

Therefore, we aimed to include the bare minimum features that would ensure maximum functionality and versatility..

SUBTEXT5

State-of-the-art Technology

Our backpack is built with the same technology used to make inflatable boats and sailing equipment that simply cannot fail in rough conditions.

Infrared welding is a process that merges the different layers of materials together, making them impenetrable.

SUBTEXT3

Plastic for Rice

With your purchase, you directly contribute to the collection and recycling of 8 kg of plastic and the distribution of 2 kg of rice to feed a person for 8 days.

We collaborate with the Plastic Exchange association which is committed to changing the ecology of the island of Bali.

People are encouraged to collect plastic, which is collected by the association and recycled. In return these people receive rice, which is purchased from local farmers, bringing a rescue to the whole ecosystem with a circular economy.

If you want to learn more about the association, watch this explanatory video

SUBTEXT3

Tropical Soul

The 8020 is designed for versatility and tested in Bali, in the heart of the tropical humid climate – the perfect place to test it in any kind of weather and type of activity.

From sea to mountains – ranging from an intense day of surfing to an adventure in the jungle during the rainy season.

Frequently Asked Questions

To help with your pre-order
  1. Why pre-order and crowdfunding?
The pre-ordering and crowdfunding methods enable us to minimize risks and make the project sustainable while guaranteeing a competitive price.

We think that many products on the market are overpriced.

We aim to ensure premium quality at a competitive price, and crowdfunding allows us to do so.

We manufacture only what is required, without unnecessary waste of material.

Additionally, the limited number of products increases their value for buyers and creates a community of patrons who share the same interests and passions.
  2. How does crowdfunding works?
The campaign is divided into timed production batches.

You can contribute and pre-order for 60 days per batch.

At the end of the current batch, the price goes up.
  3. Why should I trust you?
We understand you, many crowdfunding campaigns on other platforms are scams. You are offered to invest and the product is never delivered.

We offer you a zero risk guarantee.

If our campaign goal is not met, you will get a full refund.
If the delivery delay exceeds one month from the expected date, you can request a full refund.

In our first campaign, we raised over $200,000 and delivered over 2,500 backpacks to happy customers who pre-ordered.

  4. When will i receive the backpack?
At the end of the campaign, we start the manufacturing of a batch of products based on the number of pre-orders reached.

The expected delivery date for the current batch is June 2022.
  5. What countries do you ship to?
We offer worldwide tracked shipping (pre-orders will be shipped in June 2022).

    The shipping cost is $7.99.
