Good quality item, solid addition to my outdoor gear collection

Ordered this backpack a while ago. Bit sceptical at first as they seem like a small company but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bag. The material is thick and durable and it’s held up to many fishing/camping trips. I’ve used it to carry clothes, gear, even fish and it’s still goin strong

I have been using the backpack for several months now, in extreme conditions (rain, humid weather, dry, sunny days in Europe and in tropical Latin America) and it works very well. I am loving it. I wish it had more pockets inside to organize my stuff. Apart from that, it's ideal.

Excellent quality for all outdoor purposes

As anyone who spends any amount of time backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, snowboarding etc. knows, bad weather can turn an exciting adventure into an annoying endeavour, but being properly prepared ensures that the former is more likely. My Project 46-012 Waterproof Backpack is now my permanent companion on all of my adventures. As soon as it arrived, I immediately saw how well made it was and just as immediately realized that I should have purchased one for my partner as well. Righting the wrongs of the past, I'm off to purchase another backpack!

Awesome piece of kit

Bought 2 of the green , their really cool. Was very impressed on how comfortable they felt when I first put it on. It hasn’t failed me, Would be nice if there were a few more colours. 10/10 for me guys !

Super good product! I am military and I use it at work, a small liner on the exterior of the bag to protect it would make a huge difference on durability!

It's simple but very well crafted, perfect size and capability. I really like the material: to the touch and the light iridescent effect of the color. I have being using and abusing it everyday since delivery and it is still in perfect condition. My critics: I find the handle design a bit cheap. Also I originally order it in sand but it was told not being available so I had to choose the green color...

Amazing bag, quality is really good and does what was promised. Some days I wish it was a bit bigger, but other than that it’s fantastic.

This thing is comfortable. I use this for work and travel and fits perfectly under an airline seat for carryon. Only issue is that the bag does not offer much storage capabilities. For a bag that is so large on the interior, I'd love to have more way to store cables, tablets, pens, and even a laptop without using the main compartment or single pocket inside the bag. The exterior pocket is great for loose items like pens, notes, or even a cell phone if you're not exposed to rain. I'll continue using this as is but that's the only issue I have with it.

It’s strong, sturdy and looks incredible. I use this backpack every day, it’s made for everything, the commute, the adventure, the British weather.

Good material. Wish there was a waist strap to carry the load. Overall great bag

It is really good, fantastic product I have used everyday since I purchased it, slight fraying on the stitch around the top of the bag but I expected it as I used it everyday since purchase.

I love that its waterproof. And the possibility that you can fill it up to the top if you need. So far great quality and no issues!

I bought this bag primarily because I wanted a waterproof bag for cycling to work. I have been using it regularly for about 8 months now and it has been working well. I use a generic reflective
cover over the top when cycling.
Pros:
Effective waterproofing, good capacity inside bag, useful mesh pocket inside, good looking product comfortable straps and chest clip

Suggestions:
Extended the back padding - the unpadded plastic forms pointy corners at times
Consider a lower chest strap if intended for cycling - back still knocks around when on speed bumps/uneven surfaces
Reflective components/cover

I think this serves as a good commuter bag or day when when travelling, I probably wouldn't use it as a primary bag if doing something more intrepid as the padding needs work, and it does not fit the shape of your back as well.

I backed the first production run of Expedition Units because the team have come up with a great brand and a great look that fits the more adventurous traveller. It’s robust and very functional…and lived up to its billing on a recent safari in the wilds of Namibia. Am sure the second run will be even better.
